The mechanisms of development and progression of cardiovascular pathology in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) are described in this article. The role of populational and uremic factors with high risk of cardiovascular morbility and mortality in patients with CRF is shown. In prospective study of 400 patients with different stages of CRF was fulfilled for determination of contribution of these factors in progression of lesions of the heart and ves sels. The key role of arterial hypertension, dysfunction of calcium-phosphorous metabolism, hyperlipidemia, arte rio venous fistula, functioning after kidney transplantation is shown. The adequate treatment of patients in pre dialysis period is demonstrated. Recommendations on diagnosis, treatment and prophylactics of cardiovascular affections in patients with different stages of CRF are given.
