Quantitative Analysis and Clinical Study of Serum D-dimer in Hepatitis B Patients

Objective To study the clinical significance of serum D-dimer in hepatitis B patients. Method Serum D-dimer levels were measured by immunoassay turbidimetry in 125 hepatitis B patients and 68 normal people. Result The levels of serum D-dimer in hepatitis B patients were elevated as compared with contro ls(P 0.001), and increased as the symptom became more serious. Conclusion Diffe rent degree of hyperfibrinolysis exists in hepatitis B. Serum D -dimer could be used as one of the prognosis markers for the hepatitis B.
