425 Comparative Experimental Study of Pulmonary Function Evaluation in Outpatient NHBLD among Exanguinating Donors and Sudden Death Donors

2011
tation was performed. The right pulmonary artery was ligated 60 min after reperfusion to evaluate the left transplanted lung. Results: In the ventilation group, all 6 animals survived 240 min after reperfusion, while in the non-ventilation group, only 4 survived and the others died of circulatory collapse. The ventilation group demonstrated significantly better pulmonary oxygenation, shunt fraction, wet/dry weight ratio, high-energy phosphates levels in the lung tissues, fewer apoptosis cells (P 0.05). In the non-ventilated group H-E stain revealed severe intraparenchymal hemorrhage and inflammation and mRNA levels of TNF, IL-8 in the lung tissues and serum IL-6 levels were higher significantly (P 0.05). Conclusions: These findings suggested that ventilation for a certain period of time before procurement ameliorates ischemia-reperfusion injury in DCD donors.
