de tratamiento de aguas residuales La Mariposa 1

2011
Denitrification process was evaluated in a wastewater treat ment plant in order to know its effi ciency in removing nitrogen, and to propose an operational method for its implementing. The parameters involved in the process of denitrification were identified. It was observed that the ope ration was conducted according to established design parameters. Physical and chemical characterization of wastewater was realized at different stages during a period of 30 days. The dissolved oxygen, DBO, DQO, nitrates, total nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, pH and temperature were determined. The value of Dissolved oxygen obtained (3.000.01) mg/L had effect on denitrification process effi ciency by limiting the existence of the anoxic zone and the removal of nitrates in water treated. Therefore, we propose a mode of operation economic feasibility of the module to prevent over oxygenation and to ensure a homogeneous mixture.
