Transforming growth factor β receptor mediated signal transduction pathway and bronchial asthma

Bronchial asthma is generally characterized by chronic airway inflammation, its pathogenesis includes airway inflammation, airway hyperresponsiveness, airway remodeling and so on.The signal transduction pathway mediated by transforming growth factor β (TGF-β) receptor plays an important role in it.This paper mainly reviews the recent progress in the relationship between the signal transduction pathway mediated by TGF-β receptor and bronchial asthma.
