Clinical Effect Observation of Autotransfusion for Storage before Brain Surgery

Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of autotransfusion for storage before the brain surgery.Methods One hundred and ten patients with craniocerebral surgical operation from May 2010 to May 2011 received autotransfusion for storage before the brain surgery.The intraoperative situation and curative effect after the operation were observed and analyzed.Results Among 110 patients with craniocerebral surgery,92 patients recovered smoothly,18 patients received the allogeneic blood during the operation.Among 92 cases,6 patients belonged to the rare blood type,RH negative blood,and the surgical progressed smoothly as expected.15 cases were the elderly patients (55 years old),and no postoperative complications were found.Conclusions Through the clinical observation of 110 patients with autotransfusion for storage before the craniocerebral surgery,we know that autologous blood transfusion can avoid the problems caused by allogeneic blood transfusion.It is safe and economical,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
