Effect of oxidative stress on metformin hydrochloride tablets of type 2 diabetic patients with neuropathy

Objective To study the efficacy of metformin hydrochloride tablets on type 2 diabetic patients with neu ropathy.Methods The experimental group treated with the therapy of metformin hydrochloride tablets and mecobal amin tablets.The control group treated with the therapy of nateglinide tablets and mecobalamin tablets.The clinical effects were observed and compared.Results The FBG,PBG and HbA1c had a significant decrease in in the experimental group compared with the control group.The MNCV and SNCV in median nerve and peroneal nerve had a signif icant increase in the experimental group compared with the control group.The MDA,SOD and TAOC had a significant improvement in the experimental group compared with the control group.The total efficiency in experimental group was 93.3%.Conclusion The therapy of metformin hydrochloride tablets and mecobalamin tablets in type 2 diabetic patients with neuropathy was efficacy.
