Diagnosis Effect of Color Doppler Ultrasonography and Transcranial Doppler Ultrasonography in Examining Blood Flow Velocity of Hyperthyroidism

Objective By examining blood flow velocity of superior thyroid artery and middle cerebral artery with color Doppler ultrasonography and transcranial Doppler ultrasonography,to analyze the diagnosis value of them in hyperthyroidism. Methods 84 patients with hyperthyroidism,55 healthy subjects were enrolled in this study,the maximum blood flow velocities were measured by color Doppler ultrasonography and transcranial Doppler ultrasonography. Results Compared with control group, the maximum blood flow velocity of superior thyroid artery and middle cerebral artery in hyperthyroidism was increased(P0.05),there was significant difference between the two groups.The velovity of blood flood increased as the increased levels of fT3. Conclusion CDFI combining with TCD has significant value in diagnosis of hyperthyroidism.
