Rozsiane aspiracyjne zapalenie oskrzelików w przebiegu achalazji przełyku u 9-letniego chłopca – opis przypadku

Abstract Achalasia is a rare disease in children. Diagnostic difficulties arise from nonspecific symptoms, especially in young children, and similarity to other more common clinical entities such as gastroesophageal reflux disease. In this paper we described a case of 9-year-old boy with slowly growing esophageal achalasia that was not recognised for a long time. The disease was diagnosed during subsequent lower respiratory tract infection as diffuse aspiration bronchiolitis in course of achalasia.
