Realization of Oxygen Reduction and Evolution Electrocatalysis by In Situ Stabilization of Co Nanoparticles in a Redox‐Active Donor‐Acceptor Porous Organic Polymer

2019
A bifunctional POP catalyst: A redox active porous organic polymer (POP) is synthesized and it shows the potential to catalyze the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). This POP is found to be efficient for in situ stabilization of Co nanoparticles. Interestingly, the Co nanoparticles-stabilized POP demonstrates bifunctional electrocatalytic activity for ORR and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) with low overpotential and increased stability.
