Intraorbital glomus cell tumor.

1994
diagnosis for traumatic orbital apex syndrome. A traumatic incident may only be coincidentally associated with visual loss. Orbital apex syndrome may result from malignancy, granulomatous inflammation, decompensation of a vascular aneurysm, or acute sinus disease. Our patient never had sepsis, which is unusual for cavernous sinus thrombosis. We believe the temporal association of our patient's trauma with the development of an orbital apex syn drome was causally related.
