Nursing care of 22 children with anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis

This paper summarizes the nursing care of 22 children with anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate(NMDA) receptor encephalitis. The key points were symptomatic care of mental disorders,convulsions,central hypoventilation,autonomic nerve dysfunction,sleep disorders as well as skin and mucous care. One child died of respiratory failure and the other children were discharged with improvement.
