Thromboembolic Risk Reduction Via Transseptal Thrombus Aspiration in a Patient With Spontaneous Left Atrial Thrombus and Stroke

We report the case of a 73-year-old male patient who first presented for cardiology consultation after transient ischemic attack. No pre-existing conditions, other than hypertension, were known. Long-term electrocardiography did not reveal atrial fibrillation. Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
