¶Background. In the treatment of vertebral artery (VA) dissecting aneurysms, only proximal occlusion of the VA does not necessarily prevent rerupture. We evaluated the efficacy of coil trapping for the ruptured VA dissecting aneurysms using the double microcatheters technique.
