The present invention relates to a method for producing metal particle sols with a metal particle content of ≧ 1 g / l, comprising the steps of a) reaction of a metal salt solution with a hydroxide-containing solution b) reacting the solution obtained from step a) with a reducing agent, wherein at least one of the solutions in step a) comprises a dispersing aid. Furthermore, the present invention by the inventive method metal particles produced as well as the use thereof.
