The main object of the invention is a system (10) of reversible electrolysis of water at high temperature, characterized in that it comprises: a reversible high temperature electrolyzer (11) configured to operate according to a user 'solid oxide electrolyser of SOEC type for hydrogen production and storage of electricity, and / or in a stack mode solid oxide fuel cell of the SOFC type for hydrogen destocking and the production of electricity ; a hydride container (12), thermally coupled with said reversible electrolyzer, the system being configured to provide an unobstructed heat recovery tank by the hydride upon absorption of hydrogen to produce water vapor under pressure to enter the reversible electrolyzer when the SOEC type and to provide an unobstructed heat recovery or by the outgoing flow of the reversible electrolyzer when the SOFC to allow the desorption of hydrogen from the reservoir hydrides.
