Effects of biogas residue on the growth of peach trees and soil fertility.

2012
The effects of biogas residue on the growth of peach trees and soil fertility were investigated. The results showed that using biogas residue significantly promoted the growth of peach trees.Compared with blank control,by using basic fertilizer with 20% and 14% of biogas residue, the leaf area of peach tree increased by 25.8% and 19.6%,trunk diameter increased by 38.9 and 50.0%,collateral diameter increased by 31.4.% and 29.4%,respectively,which all were significantly higher than compound fertilizer.Biogas residue improved soil fertility as well.Compared with blank control,20% and 14% of biogas residue made organic matter increased 18.7% and 11.6%,total nitrogen increased 35.9% and 30.6%,and total phosphorus increased 31.9% and 41.6%,respectively.
