Recovery of normal diurnal variation of blood pressure following renal artery stenting

2003
Renal artery stenting is a therapeutic option in patientswith functionally significant atherosclerotic renovascu-lar disease. Improved control of blood pressure (BP) andpreservation of renal function may be achieved follow-ing intervention. We present a case in which renal arterystenting was followed by recovery of the normal diurnalvariation in BP.Journal of Human Hypertension (2003) 17, 147–150.doi:10.1038/sj.jhh.1001509Keywords: systemic hypertension; nocturnal dip; renal artery stenting
