Objective Analysis of gastroscopic examination in 555 children.Objective To investigate charactetitic of gastroscopic examination with symptom of upper digestive tract and relationship between the HP infection and the gastrotitis.Assessed important of biopsies of duodenum.Methods The data of gastroscopic examination in children aged from 3days to 18 years in past two years were analyzed retrospectively.Results 91.42%admitted patients and 71.15%out-patients had abdominal pain,especial umbilical area.The patients of no abdominal pain but other symptoms of digestic tract had abnormal in gastroscopic examination and histopathology.We could see no pain's ulcer.Foreign body of digestive tract were 3.6%.The most frequent occurrence of children was chronic inflammation,the degree was medium to severe.The ratio of positive of H·pylori infection in biopsies was 28.6%.As compared with those absence of H·pylori infection,the gastritis of the children induced more frequent occurrence of antral atrophy,more severe active inflammation,more high degree chronic inflammation and more often presence of lymphoid follicles(P0.01).Different of gastroscopic diagnosis of duodenum were same in degree chronic inflammation of mucosal,active inflammation,ratio of positive of H·pylori infection and presence of lymphoid follicle.But had different in antral atrophy(P0.01).Conclusion Abdominal pain especial umbilical area.was the most often symptom of upper digestive tract in children.It is necessary for the no abdominal pain but other symptoms of digestic tract patients had gastroscopic examination.Presence of lymphoid follicles is important manifest of H·pylori infection.H·pylori infection was not only relationship with degree chronic inflammation but also relationship with the potentiality of malignancy.Gastroscopic diagnosis of duodenum could not replace histopathology.The biopsies of duodenal mucosa was essential.
