Background Glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) is a key enzyme that catalyzes the final reaction of the glutamine metabolic pathway, and has been reported implicated in tumor growth and metastasis. However, it’s clinical significance and role in colorectal cancer (CRC) pathogenesis is largely unknown.
