Rotavirus epidemiology in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

The epidemiology of rotavirus infections was investigated in San Luis Potosi, Mexico during a 6-year period. In each of the study years, the epidemic period started in October or November; peak activity was detected between December and February, and the end of the epidemic occurred in March or April. Rotavirus infections show a consistent temporal pattern in our community.
