The Effect of Plasma Exchange Combined with Rhubarb Enema on the Coagulation Function in Patients with Severe Hepatitis

Objective To observe the effect of plasma exchange(PE) combined with rhubarb enema on the coagulation function in patients with severe hepatitis.Methods 106 cases patients with severe hepatitis were divided into two groups:treatment group(n = 54) and control group(n = 52),all the patients were treated with common medical treatment and plasma exchange,and on that basis the treatment group added rhubarb enema.The changes of PT,APTT,TT,PTA and PLT before and after treatment were observed.Results All indexes of two groups were improved significantly after treatment(P 0.05),which of treatment group were improved better than those of control group(P 0.05);the total efficiency of treatment group was 81.5%,while in control group was 57.5%,the two groups were significant difference(z = 2.214,P = 0.034) .Conclusion Plasma exchange combined with rhubarb enema could effectively improve the coagulation function and the success rate of rescue of patients with severe hepatitis.
