Comparison of. nu. n and. nu. p charged-current cross sections from high-energy neutrino interactions in deuterium

From an analysis of the reaction ..nu../sub ..mu../+d..--> mu../sup -/+X, obtained from an exposure of the Fermilab 15-ft deuterium-filled bubble chamber, the ratios charged-current cross sections for E/sub ..nu../>10 GeV are determined to be sigma(..nu..n)/sigma(sigmap)=2.03 +- 0.28 for =50 GeV, and sigma(nu-barn)/sigma(nu-barp)=0.51 +- 0.16 for
