The important point of treating functional edema is regulating Qi and blood

Taking the descriptions about "asthenia syndrome edema" from Internal Classics,Jing Yue's complete work,treatise on differentiation and treatment of epidemic febrile diseases in the ancient Chinese medicine as the basic theory and combining with the clinical experience the etiology and pathogenesis of functional edema was illustrated.It was suggested that the important point of treatment principle is regulating qi and blood.The diagnostic strategy and medication experience in treating functional edema was summarized.
