Current status of management and prospect of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma in China

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is one of the " four major chronic diseases" in the world.COPD and bronchial asthma (hereinafter referred to as asthma) are common among chronic respiratory diseases, but they have not been paid enough attention to compared with those of hypertension, diabetes and tumor.This article mainly expounds the status of COPD, the burdenof asthma, the education of diagnosis and management at the grass-roots level, the awareness rate of patients and so on.Finally, we discuss the prospect of application of mobile internet of things technology in COPD and asthma management.
