The Changes and Significance of Sex Hormone of Patients with III B Prostatitis before and after Treatment

2013
Objective To detect the changes of rogen receptor(AR),testosterone(T) and estradiol(E2) in patients with Ⅲ B prostatitis before and after treatment and study the pathogenesis of Ⅲ B prostatitis. Methods We detected the levels of serum androgen receptor(AR),testosterone(T) and estradiol(E2) in 78 patients with Ⅲ B prostatitis before and after regular treatment by the radioligand binding assay and radioimmunoassay. Results Before treatment, the difference of AR and E2/T in patients with different degrees was obvious(P0.05).The E2 levels of the severe group were significantly higher than those of the mild group(P0.05).The ratio of AR and E2/T 1 month after regular treatment was significantly different than that before treatment(P0.05) and the levels of T and E2 were not significantly different than those before treatment(P0.05).Conclusions The interaction of sex hormone secretion disorder and autoimmune response is one of the action mechanisms of Ⅲ B prostatitis.
