The Long-term Efficacy of Sodium Glucose Co-transporter 2 Inhibitor in Patients with Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

2019
Objective Sodium glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitor (SGLT-2i), recommended for patients with type 2 diabetes, has been reported to improve the liver function test results in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). However, the long-term effects of SGLT-2i on the liver function and body weight in NAFLD patients have not been fully elucidated. In this study, we investigated the long-term effects of SGLT-2i in NAFLD patients.
