Stroking the Synapse: Insight into Ischemic Damage and Recovery from in vivo 2-Photon Imaging of Individual Synapses

2-photon imaging of blood flow, brain structure, and function has been applied in transgenic mice in vivo to assess the events which occur during first few hrs after an interruption of blood supply termed stroke.
