subsequent flow-through transduction experiments thereby indicating the importance of ASGP-R accessiblity at the basolateral domain for MoML V(SV-F) pseudotype transduction. Furthermore, stably ASGP-R eDNA transfected MDCK cells, but not parental ASGP-R negative MDCK cells were found to be transduced by MoML V(SV-F) pseudotypes, i. e. a direct genetic proof for the ASGP-R restricted tropism of MoML V(SV-F) pseudotypes was provided. Our results demonstrate that retroviral vectors pseudotyped with Sendal virus F protein can be used for specific and restricted transduction of ASGP-R positive cells.
