The invention discloses a method for separating and purifying a trifluoroethanol and water azeotrope, mainly aiming at solving the problems that a third impurity is introduced by azeotropic rectification and the separation purity is low. The method adopts a rectifying tower and a permeation evaporation device and specifically comprises the following steps: (1) conveying a trifluoroethanol and water mixture into the rectifying tower and separating, wherein a tower top fraction is a lowest azeotrope of trifluoroethanol and water and a tower kettle fraction is a trifluoroethanol product; (2) conveying the tower kettle fraction of the rectifying tower into the permeation evaporation device and separating; after water at a material liquid side preferentially permeates a film to enter the film, condensing and circulating retentate into the rectifying tower, wherein a permeated matter is pure water. According to the method disclosed by the invention, a third substance is not introduced and the purity of a product is high.
