Clinical Analysis and Treatment Response of Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma Patients with Renal Insufficiency

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics, therapeutic response and prognosis of newly diagnosed multiple myeloma with renal insufficiency. Methods The clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of 24 newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patients with renal insufficiency were retrospectively analyzed. Results The median overall survival time was 13.5 months and the median progression free survival time was 9.5 months. After the treatment, the median overall survival time of e GFR 40 m L/(min·1.73 m2) groups was 12 and 23 months respectively. Conclusion The prognosis of multiple myeloma patients with renal insufficiency was poor and patients with early reversal of renal insufficiency have improved the outcomes.
