Analysis of risk factors of tumor patients with PICC catheter cause-related bloodstream infections

Objective To study of cancer patients PICC catheter,causing bloodstream infections in patients with risk factors.Methods In this study,select our hospital in June 2010 to June 2012 in our hospital carried admitted for treatment of tumor patients with 120 cases for the study,Univariate and multivariate Logistic analysis may lead to cancer patients PICC catheter infection in blood flow analysis.Results Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that:age(β=1.578,OR=4.470),peripheral blood(β=1.234,OR=3.354),number of chemotherapy treatments(β=1.244,OR=1.901),number of puncture(β=1.214,OR=1.919),tube(β=1.361,OR=2.453),diabetes(β=1.324,OR=2.032) is an independent risk factor for PICC blood infection.Conclusion Clinical care should be strengthened in these areas of prevention,reducingthe incidence of bloodstream infections.
