2014
Objective To observe the curative effect on early application of somatostatin in post perforating appendicitis operation. Methods A total of 400 patients with perforating appendicitis after operation were divided into 2 groups randomly, both groups required routine fasting, antibiotic and rehydration support therapy. Group A use somatostatin at the beginning of post perforating appendicitis operation. Group B not use somatostatin at the beginning of post perforating appendicitis operation. Results The time of anus exhaust and c-reactive protein(CRP) recovery to normal in group A is shorter than in group B, and the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). 7 patients in group B suffer Early postoperative inflammatory ileus. while group A did not have sample, which was statistically valid(P0.05). Conclusion Using somatostatin at the beginning of post perforating appendicitis operation will shorten the time of anus exhaust recovery, reduce the chance of Celiac inflammation, reduce the chance of EPII.
