The presence of buried archaeological structures is often a source of problem during the construction of underground parks, sewers lires, building foundations etc., the use of the G.P.R. method in risk area to detect and map archaeological remnants, can help both the design and execution of excavations works avoiding expensive stops or re-designing . The aim of this paper is to present three selected applications of the G.P.R. method for the mapping of archaeological structures, burial sites and pit tombs in loose soils and rocks.
