Pion-nucleon charge-exchange scattering in the absorption model

The π-→π°n process is studied from 5.9 to 18.2 GeV/c with a modified absorption model. The agreement with experiment for differntial cross-sections is good in the small-momentum-transfer region. Predictions are made with respect to the polarization of the final neutron.
