Flange Union at Nanoscale: Fabrication and Formation Mechanism

2020
Yttrium-based coordination polymers (YCPs) superstructures connected by flange union with well geometry were fabricated for the first time via a facile hydrothermal method. The formation mechanism was investigated in details. An assembly, disassembly and reassembly process happened during the reaction process. Furthermore, doping concentration and reaction temperature have great effect on the morphology of the product. Employing this method, lanthanide (Ln)-based CPs (LnCPs) particles with complex structures also have been prepared. The drug delivery of the YCPs superstructures were tested. The drug encapsulation rate (EE%) and drug loading rate (DLC%) are 87% and 57%. The present study provides some guidelines for the preparation of CPs with complex structures and the fabrication of CPs nanodevice.
