To the Editor: The article by Ukai et al 1 evaluated the correlations between habitual tub bathing patterns and risk of coronary heart disease and stroke. This research concluded that habitual tub bathing can be beneficial in preventing coronary heart disease and stroke. We noticed that in the analysis between habitual tub bathing and stroke, the salutary effects were most significant for intracerebral haemorrhage, while the beneficial effect in preventing cerebral infarction was not that clear. …
