Enhanced absorption in organic semiconductors with embedded aluminum nanoparticles

We propose that Al nanoparticles, because of their high plasmon frequency, are a better choice than Ag or Au particles for plasmonic enhancement of optical absorption in organic semiconductors. Modeling and experimental results are presented.
