The Ask-Upmark kidney: a curable cause of hypertension in young patients

We are reporting a case of arterial hypertension in a young woman who had an atrophic kidney with a cortical groove and histological features of the Ask-Upmark kidney. Her hypertension was renin dependent and the patient was cured following nephrectomy.
